Not much to look at yet, but the transmission mount is done (it has already been modified!) and the engine mounts are almost finished, awaiting final fitting on the chassis. We have also decided to use a sump from a later, transaxle-equipped, Alfa. Although not as good as the Spider 'hammer-head' one, from an oil-control point of view, it suits the looks of the chassis better. More importantly, the front face slopes back slightly, to give an extra inch of clearance for the steering track rod, allowing the back of the engine to clear the firewall.
