A frame-up . . . rebuild

A frame

A WL frame - in its raw state, quite an elegant mix of steel castings and tube, held together by copious amounts of brazing. In fact the excess of bronze that has run out over the frame from the joints has served to protect most of the tubes from the ravages of time.

It's in really quite good condition. We should be able to get away with a good dressing of the escaped brazing residues, and an overall blasting of grit to clean things up. There's a bit of pitting on the rear tubes, and on the front downtube, so we'll have to decide what to fill this with - that'll depend on what sort of paint finish we end up using.
